Date Calculator
Add or subtract days, weeks, months and years from any date. Everything is worked out live in your browser.
How the date calculator works
Pick a start date, choose whether to add or subtract, and enter any combination of days, weeks, months and years. The tool applies the change and shows you the resulting calendar date, the day of the week it falls on, and how many days separate it from your start date.
How months and years are counted
Years and months are added by calendar, not by a fixed number of days, matching how people naturally think about dates. Adding one month to 31 January lands on the last day of February, because the target month has fewer days. Days and weeks are then applied on top, so "2 months and 10 days" is calculated in that order.
Common uses
Use it to find a deadline a number of weeks away, work out a due date, count forward to a renewal or contract end, or step back to see when a countdown began. To measure the gap between two specific dates instead, use the date duration calculator.
